3M1262 biological indicator is mainly used for monitoring the sterilization effect of exhaust pressure steam at 121 ℃ and pre vacuum pressure steam at 132 ℃.

usage method:

1： Place the pressure steam sterilization biological culture indicator in a standard test kit;

2： According to national regulations, place the test kits in different positions inside the pot;

3： Sterilization completed, remove the biological indicator;

4： Squeeze out the ampoule inside and place it together with a control tube in a 56 ℃ incubator;

5： 48 hours later, read the results

Product Introduction:

This product consists of Bacillus subtilis spores, culture medium, and plastic shell.

Under saturated steam conditions at 121 ℃, the survival time is ≥ 5 minutes and the killing time is ≤ 15 minutes.

Reading instructions:

After cultivation, if the indicator tube does not change color (turns purple), it indicates that sterilization has passed; After cultivation, the indicator tube changes color (yellow), indicating that sterilization has not passed,

(The reason for sterilization failure must be promptly identified). The control tube cultured at the same time should be positive (yellow). If it is negative, the possible reasons are: the cultivation conditions do not meet the requirements;

There is a problem with the biological indicator; (The negative cause should be identified in a timely manner).

Product storage conditions: Storage temperature is 15 ℃ -30 ℃, relative humidity is 35% -60%, avoid close to sterilizers and chemical disinfectants.

Please note the following when using:

Only when the control tube is positive, its biological test result is considered valid.

After sterilization is completed, the biological indicator should be removed and cooled for at least 10 minutes before the ampoule inside the biological indicator can be squeezed out, otherwise it may cause fragments of the ampoule to injure people.

After usePositive indicators must be discarded after sterilization (at least 15 minutes at 121 ℃).
